The staff at Casa Diocesana Via Lucis was incredibly helpful and respectful. The location of the accommodation is ideal, situated next to the local catholic church. The building is immaculately clean and conveniently located near a university campus, the airport bus station, and the center of the old town in Santiago.

The hotel staff is extremely friendly. The hotel has a central location, close to a 16th-century park.

High ceiling, spaciousness in the room, breakfast, hot shower, late check- out time, the garden, the toilets in the lobby, the way the room was prepared;clean, tidy, simplistic, practical furniture

1.The walls are not thick enough to block noises from the next rooms and corridor;walls are plasterboard.I Am sure the guests in the next room were able to hear me burping as I heard them snoring through the plasterboard wall.It is definitely not a place to come and stay If you are a couple who want to be amorous to each other.Thank God I heard nothing of others being amorous during my stay here.!!! There are a small ornament of Jesus on a cross and a small religious print of a girl staring upwards on the wall and I guess these may be sufficient enough to kill off any romantic mood. 2.the reception is not manned throughout opening hours;you need to buzz to get any attention. 3.two blankets are not warm enough at night times especially because of the draft coming from uninsulated old structure that has window. 4.the floor is laminated and does not absorb noises made on the floor when walking in the room. 5.there is not much warm ambiance in this hotel. I guess it is due to the religious characteristics of the place. 6.I was told that there was a communal room for guests but you do not get informed of it unless you seek out.

Hotel was quiet and stunningly beautiful and I truly enjoyed the food there, it was good! The location was comfortable and the free parking was onsite. The room was spacious and a decent size and bright when I arrived. Private bathroom was excellent. The most important was the staff - extremely friendly and excellent people.

The location was hard to find.

I had a pretty spacious room with a private bathroom, and there was even a lovely garden 🌿. The location of this place was super central, right in the heart of a real monastery.
